About this Privacy Policy
This Policy provides information about how we use and share the information that you give to us and applies to any individual or company who have registered with Meadow Security Alarms LTD as either a customer, user, administrator or in any other capacity.

Purpose of Processing & Data Sharing
Meadow Security Alarms LTD operates in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR). We are required to inform you that we keep basic personal contact details on an electronic database in order to provide an efficient service, in particular to monitor and schedule routine service visits and to manage contractual agreements. We also keep paper based records of service reports and installation records which contain some personal information. You have a legal right to access these records pertaining to you, upon request.
Personal data is information such as a name, home and / or business address, email address and telephone number, which makes a person capable of being identified or identifiable.
All such data is retained whilst you have a contractual agreement with us, whilst your equipment is within the warranty period or whilst consent has been provided.

Data is only shared with third parties for the following reason:
• Alarm Receiving Centre
In order to provide notification to emergency services and your keyholders, where appropriate, the centre keeps personal details of you and your keyholders in order to maintain the information required to provide their service.

Meadow Security Alarms LTD are legally responsible for ensuring that we only use your personal data as set out in the General Data Protection Regulations and in this policy, we process your data fairly and lawfully and to the extent necessary for its purpose.

What is our lawful basis for processing your data?
Article 6 of the General Data Protection Regulations state that we must inform you of our legal basis for processing your personal data. There are a number of lawful basis that Meadow Security Alarms LTD meet to allow us to process your data including:

Meadow Security Alarms LTD does not collect any sensitive data about you. Sensitive data includes but is not limited to religion, ethnicity, race, sexual orientation, political beliefs, employment history or medical information.

Marketing

Meadow Security Alarms LTD will from time to time use your information for marketing purposes. The main purpose of this is to provide you with information about goods and services which we think may be of interest to you and / or to maintain any existing relationship we may have with you. We will ensure that all individuals and businesses have completed a consent form to opt-in to marketing and promotions.

We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way, altered or disclosed.
